Shaddai is a contemporary ceramic mezuzah cover, handcrafted from stoneware and inspired by Brutalist architecture found across Israel. The Hebrew letters שד״י, one of the traditional names of God, are carefully embedded into the design — a subtle blend of language, material, and meaning.
This piece offers a fresh interpretation of a classic ritual object, connecting Jewish heritage with clean, modern aesthetics. Perfect for adding a thoughtful detail to any doorway.

Care information
Each ABS Objects piece is made by hand in our Tel Aviv studio using high-quality stoneware, fired at 1200°C. Expect slight variations in shape, glaze, and color—these are signs of the object's handmade nature. Handle ceramics with care, especially delicate parts like handles and rings. All ceramics are food safe. Hand wash only. Avoid dishwashers. Do not place ceramics on open flames or stovetops. Suitable for microwave and oven heating. Unglazed areas may absorb natural pigments (coffee, tea, spices). Use items only for their intended purpose.
