Kafe is a handcrafted coffee pitcher made of durable stoneware, inspired by the Hebrew word for coffee—קפה—which is subtly integrated into the form of the object. The letterforms are reimagined as sculptural elements, emphasizing the relationship between language, material, and function.
This piece reflects the unique design language of ABS Objects, where local heritage, Hebrew typography, and everyday rituals come together through a contemporary lens. Blending tradition with modern aesthetics, Kafe offers both a functional object and a tactile expression of Israeli visual culture.

Care information
Each ABS Objects piece is made by hand in our Tel Aviv studio using high-quality stoneware, fired at 1200°C. Expect slight variations in shape, glaze, and color—these are signs of the object's handmade nature. Handle ceramics with care, especially delicate parts like handles and rings. All ceramics are food safe. Hand wash only. Avoid dishwashers. Do not place ceramics on open flames or stovetops. Suitable for microwave and oven heating. Unglazed areas may absorb natural pigments (coffee, tea, spices). Use items only for their intended purpose.
