These handcrafted framed letter tiles celebrate the beauty of the Hebrew alphabet through the lens of contemporary design and local visual culture. Each tile features a hand-painted Hebrew letter on a ceramic base, framed in stoneware clay. Letters can be selected individually—by initials, names, or phrases—and are available in a variety of colors.

The font was originally designed by Avi Ben Shoshan as part of a broader research project exploring Hebrew and Israeli modernist typography. The result is a thoughtful balance between traditional language and contemporary material.

Each ABS Objects piece is made by hand in our Tel Aviv studio using high-quality stoneware, fired at 1200°C. Expect slight variations in shape, glaze, and color—these are signs of the object's handmade nature. Handle ceramics with care, especially delicate parts like handles and rings. All ceramics are food safe. Hand wash only. Avoid dishwashers. Do not place ceramics on open flames or stovetops. Suitable for microwave and oven heating. Unglazed areas may absorb natural pigments (coffee, tea, spices). Use items only for their intended purpose.
