A challah tray created in honor of Shabbat, featuring an embossed center with the word “Challah” in clean, sharp Hebrew typography.
This large ceramic tray is fired at a high temperature of 1220°C, giving it durability alongside a refined material presence. The object is part of the studio’s broader design language, which draws inspiration from local visual culture, the Hebrew language, and the surrounding Israeli design environment.
Balancing between the ceremonial and the everyday, the tray functions as both a festive centerpiece and a practical serving object. Its generous form makes it suitable for a variety of foods, extending its use beyond tradition while maintaining its symbolic role.
Made to order in a Tel Aviv studio, each piece carries slight variations, making every tray unique.

Care information
Each ABS Objects piece is made by hand in our Tel Aviv studio using high-quality stoneware, fired at 1200°C. Expect slight variations in shape, glaze, and color—these are signs of the object's handmade nature. Handle ceramics with care, especially delicate parts like handles and rings. All ceramics are food safe. Hand wash only. Avoid dishwashers. Do not place ceramics on open flames or stovetops. Suitable for microwave and oven heating. Unglazed areas may absorb natural pigments (coffee, tea, spices). Use items only for their intended purpose.
