Calendar | A Tribute to Israeli Ceramic History

A collaboration made with TA Tarbut Hamehoga

This limited-edition calendar series was printed using the risograph technique, with only a handful of copies created — each one a tactile memory, a quiet homage to Israel’s disappearing ceramic heritage.

Inspired by the golden age of local ceramic factories — such as Beit HaYotzer, Lapid, Naaman, Kadar, Bror Hayil, and more — each page in this calendar echoes the spirit of these once-vibrant workshops. Their designs, their motifs, their modest poetry etched into plates and vases, now find new life in paper and ink.

The visual language I composed draws from Hebrew typography and the decorative elements that once adorned everyday tableware. Stylized illustrations, hand-drawn patterns, and a palette faithful to the silkscreen tones of the past all come together to celebrate a culture shaped by clay, sun, and history.

These calendars are not just tools for marking time — they are vessels of memory, crafted with love for a tradition slowly fading, and a future still being molded.
