Born from Rock X Avi Ben Shoshan

This collection is a collaboration between jewelry brand Born from Rock and designer Avi Ben Shoshan, it was developed through an ongoing dialog between good friends. The collection includes earrings and necklaces made out of sterling silver with natural pearls and uniquely crafted porcelain beads.
This collection draws inspiration from internal body organs and explores the relations between soft and hard shapes, and between defined lines and enigmatic lines, through an intersection between two design disciplines; goldsmithing which concentrates on the manipulation of hard material, and ceramic design which deals with soft material. The collection playfully explores themes such as sensuality, organic vs. geometric forms and the tension between polished and raw and between hard and soft.
